"Is H&M going luxury?"

As Christopher Lee Sauvé would say "H&M is going luxury? I don't think that would be called luxury then? I am confused..."

I think this is a good summary of going too far with collaborations. While the idea of fashion personnalities such as Karl Lagarfeld and Madonna  designing exclusive (....) collections for H&M is regarded as a very good idea, it doesn't seem that putting a "grande maison de couture française" out there is the best strategy.

Let me explain, designers creating collections for the Swedish brand is a way to enable people to enjoy their creativity whereas the partnership with Lanvin is more seen as "buying cheap Lanvin".
What's next? Chanel for H&M?
What about Haute Couture?

The video provides us with the answer that is to say, Haute Couture will never die as H&M will never go luxury. Buying H&M, you will not avoid the risk to go out and find someone else with the same dress...I suppose that is part of the game.
Now it is up to you to wear it better than HER!

Beyond criticisms, I admit I will still be at the front of the queue on the 23rd!!!
Yes, just to see...   :)
